Install with Docker

docker run -d --restart=always --name gitea -p 3000:3000 -p 2222:22 -v gitea:/data gitea/gitea:latest

Open port 3000 to finish the web setup, or put Gitea behind a reverse proxy with HTTPS. Git over SSH is available on port 2222. Back up the data volume regularly, for example with restic.
