Question 1

When will my server be ready?

Accepted Answer

Activation is manual and takes approximately 15 minutes. This is an estimate, not a promise of instant provisioning.

Question 2

Do backups cost extra?

Accepted Answer

Snapshots are included on the Core, Performance and VDS lines: retained for up to 30 days, the count depends on the plan. Storage VPS has no snapshots — keep your own copies there. Automatic daily backups are a separate paid option.

Question 3

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

No. The price on this site is final: it includes KVM, unmetered traffic and your chosen configuration. Payment happens on the official billing page, where you see the final amount before paying.

Question 4

Is there a traffic limit?

Accepted Answer

Every server plan includes unmetered traffic on a port up to 1 Gbps (200 Mbit/s to 1 Gbps depending on the plan). Storage and other resources remain limited by the selected plan.

Question 5

Which virtualization is used?

Accepted Answer

Every server plan (VPS and VDS) uses KVM, with the guest system's own kernel. It is a virtual machine, not a container sharing the host kernel.

Question 6

Which plans include dedicated IPv4?

Accepted Answer

Every server plan includes a dedicated IPv4 — Core VPS, Performance, Storage VPS and VDS. Object Storage works over the S3 API and does not need an IPv4.

Question 7

How is Storage VPS different from Object Storage?

Accepted Answer

Storage VPS is a full KVM server with a dedicated IPv4 and SSD disks up to 1.4 TB: applications and backup systems run on it. Object Storage is an S3-compatible bucket without an OS: files and backups over an API, with no snapshots and no dedicated address.

Question 8

Which payment methods are available?

Accepted Answer

USDT (TRC-20), BTC, TON, Visa and Mastercard. MIR is coming soon and cannot be selected as an available method. PayPal is not supported.

Question 9

Can I change the configuration later?

Accepted Answer

Do not assume plan changes are automatic. Confirm the possibility of a move, data preservation and the change procedure with the service representative before making changes.

Question 10

How do I continue to checkout?

Accepted Answer

Choose a configuration and click Continue to Buran billing. The official product page opens. Confirm the term, quantity, OS and payment there. Preferences, contact details and notes from this website are not transmitted automatically.

Question 11

Should I keep my own backups?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is sensible for important data. Snapshots and optional backups do not replace your own storage strategy, database dumps and restore tests.

Question 12

Why are the prices so low?

Accepted Answer

We buy infrastructure directly from our provider and add no reseller markup: the site shows the final monthly price with no hidden add-ons. KVM, unmetered traffic and a dedicated IPv4 are included in the price — on every server plan.

Question 13

How do I cancel a server?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period — tell support before the period ends. Save your data first: snapshots are deleted along with the server.

Question 14

How do I pay for a VPS with crypto from an exchange?

Accepted Answer

Pick a cryptocurrency on the billing page to get an invoice with an address and the exact amount. Then withdraw USDT (TRC-20), BTC or TON from your exchange to that address. You pay the network fee; the payment is matched to your order automatically.

Question 15

Do you support USDC and other stablecoins?

Accepted Answer

Right now we take USDT (TRC-20), Bitcoin and TON. Other coins and networks — including USDC — are added when clients ask, so tell support what you need.

Question 16

Where are your servers located?

Accepted Answer

In one place: the Lauterbourg datacenter in France, on the French-German border — Contabo's EU hub, about 100 km from Frankfurt. Contabo's published figures: under 20 ms to Germany and France, under 30 ms to the UK. We do not run servers in Germany, the US or anywhere else — check your own ping on /tools.
