Run Uptime Kuma on your own VPS: monitor sites, ports and APIs every minute and get Telegram or email alerts. Docker install in one command, from €12/mo.
docker run -d --restart=always -p 3001:3001 -v uptime-kuma:/app/data --name uptime-kuma louislam/uptime-kuma:1
Open port 3001 (or put it behind a reverse proxy with HTTPS), create the admin account, then add monitors: HTTP(S), TCP port, ping, DNS or keyword checks. Add Telegram under Settings → Notifications.
Core VPS 4 at €12/mo is more than enough: Uptime Kuma itself uses a small fraction of 8 GB RAM, so the same server can also run a database, a reverse proxy or other self-hosted tools.
Yes, it is open-source software. You pay only for the server it runs on.
Better not. If that server goes down, the monitor goes down with it and nobody gets the alert. Use a separate server.
